UNBC putting on class looking at pandemics

PRINCE GEORGE – The University of Northern BC will be putting on a class analyzing pandemics for the second year in a row.

The class called anthropological perspectives on pandemics past and present, will start on May 10th, and run until June 18th.

Dr. Lianne Tripp will put on the course which she says will give students a new perspective on the current pandemic.

The class will look at the 1918 pandemic and how it compares to the COVID-19 pandemic while analyzing the social and economic factors which play into it.

Looking ahead to the future, the class will also look at future medical reforms and future personal hygiene.

You can still sign up for the class, as of Monday there was still space available.
