Two drug busts and six arrests in one day in Peden Hill area

PRINCE GEORGE β April 27 was a busy day for the Prince George RCMP.
Cst. Jennifer Cooper says police executed two search warrants in the Peden Hill area.
She says at 11 a.m. that day police executed one warrant on the 3800 block of Westwood Drive and one on the 2600 block of Hollandia Drive.

βIn both residences, investigators located quantities of suspected fentanyl, suspected methamphetamine and suspected cocaine, as well as evidence of drug trafficking. Investigators also seized multiple prohibited weapons from the two houses.β
Cooper says four people were arrested at the Westwood Drive residence and another two at the Hollandia Drive home. She says investigators will be forwarding charges of drug trafficking, pending the outcome of the investigation.
Members from the Downtown Safety Unit and the Police Dog Services team assisted in the searches.
