NDP candidate for Cariboo-Prince George confirmed

PRINCE GEORGE — Audrey McKinnon has been confirmed as the NDP candidate for Cariboo-Prince George.

The former broadcaster was acclaimed at a virtual nomination meeting last night.

McKinnon is especially focused on addressing the overdose crisis, pharmacare and tackling the climate crisis.

She currently works for Carrier Sekani Tribal Council, which serves several First Nations in the region. She also serves on a number of boards and is an active member of the local arts community.
