PRINCE GEORGE — Two new wildfires emerged in the Prince George Fire Centre on Saturday (May 8).

B.C. Wildfire Service showed an out of control 20-hectare fire remains about 25 kilometres west of Chetwynd, along with a four-hectare fire about 20km northwest of Dawson Creek.

Both are believed to be person caused. They’re the only active wildfires in the Prince George Fire Centre as of publication.
