BC SPCA launches ‘Camp @ Home’ for kids this summer

PRINCE GEORGE – If you’re looking to get your kids involved in BC SPCA summer camps you can now do so right from the comfort of your own home.

Due to COVID-19, the programs have moved virtually once again for 2021, but organizers say they learned a lot from last year to improve this year’s camp experience.

“We’re so excited to be able to offer it to all locations, cause when we do the in-person camps it was very limited to some of the major centres, and now we can get in everywhere,” says Paula Neuman, Humane Education Manager for the BC SPCA.

Camp dates run from July 5- August 27, and offer a variety of experiences ranging from learning about animals to hearing from guest speakers.
