COVID numbers for May 11

NORTHERN BC – 515. That’s the newest case count for COVID-19 in BC over the past 24 hours. That brings the province’s total number to 136,623.

Of those new cases, 12 are in Northern Health, bringing this region’s total to 7,381.

There are 6,020 active cases, while there 425 people in hospital. Of those in hospital, 141 are in the intensive unit.

There have been two new COVID-related deaths, bringing that total to 1,624.
