Utility work causes traffic disruptions on Ospika Blvd
PRINCE GEORGE — Motorists beware: if you plan on driving down Ospika Boulevard near Opie Crescent and 22nd Avenue expect delays.
The City says it’s due to the installation of a sanitary sewer line and water services as part of a construction project for a new building.
Ospika will be reduced to one lane in both directions near the site from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day until about the end of the month. Travellers are advised to expect delays and to find alternate routes if possible.
As part of the project, the sidewalk on the east side of Ospika between 22nd Avenue and Opie will be closed. Pedestrians will be directed to cross Ospika at 22nd Avenue or Massey Drive and to use the sidewalk on the west side of Ospika. Access to the bus stops will be maintained.
