Road construction on Ospika
PRINCE GEORGE – There are two seasons in the north, winter, and construction season. As you may have noticed, that has already started, with projects popping up around the city, including up on Ospika Boulevard.
Ospika will be reduced to one lane in both directions near the site from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm each day until about the end of the month allow for the installation of sanitary and water services as part of construction on a new building nearby. Travelers are advised to expect delays and to find alternate routes if possible.
“That’s the public operations building that’s being built by the regional district of Fraser- Fort Geroge,” said Michael Higgins, General Manager Of Community Service for the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George ” what it’s going to house is the emergency operations centre as well as our internet site for 9-1-1 communications and fire dispatch.”
