PRINCE GEORGE- Ongoing lockdowns to slow the spread of Covid ,cost the economy 68 thousand jobs in May.
The jobless rate in Prince George was 6.1 percent last month ,up from 5.5 the previous month . BC’s overall unemployment rate dipped to 7 percent last month from , from 7.1 percent in April,while the national jobless rate was 8.2 per cent last month, up from 8.1 per cent the previous month.
