BC Rent Bank wanting more Northern BC partners

PRINCE GEORGE – Some renters across the province are facing struggles amplified by the pandemic economic downturn.

Several years ago, the government introduced BC Rent Bank to assist renters in the short term by offering loans and advice.

The program has helped close to 9000 renters in BC in the past two years. The BC Rent Bank is a housing stability and homelessness prevention initiative.
