Jessey Church raises over $4k during Annual ALS Golfathon

Jun 18, 2021 | 6:19 PM

PRINCE GEORGE – It’s the second consecutive year Aberdeen’s Assistant Pro Jessey Church has taken part in the PGA of BC Golfathon.

His first swing came at 3:59 AM, and the last ball hit the hole just before 10:30 p.m.

The only thing church says he’d change would be golfing just a little bit faster!

The fundraiser is still very much underway, and you can join in by donating here.

Church says he wasn’t overly sore after golfing for over 16 hours, at least immediately, three days later a swing proved to be more difficult to complete than normal.

The 16th annual ALS Golfathon is an annual event where PGA of BC Golf Professionals golf all day in a single day in June.
