75.8% of those 12 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine

VICTORIA — COVID-19 vaccination rates continue to rise in British Columbia.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix say that 77.3 per cent of all adults in B.C. and 75.8 per cent of those 12 and older have now received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. In total, 4,436,432 doses of vaccines have now been administered in B.C., 935,401 of which are second doses.

Over the weekend there were 229 new cases of the virus including 94 from Friday to Saturday, 90 from Saturday to Sunday and 45 over the past 24 hours.
