RCMP investigating after shots fired at duplex on Westwood Drive

PRINCE GEORGE – Update: RCMP are confirming a shooting took place at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday near a home on the 3800 block of Westwood Drive.

Four people were arrested, three of whom were released pending further investigation.

Cst. Jennifer Cooper calls it a targeted shooting with no injuries. Investigators are askign that anyone in the area with dash cam or surveillance footage from 8: a.m. to 8:45 a.m. to contact police.

Earlier: A witness says police were on scene for hours on Sunday including the K9 team.

The witness says he heard multiple gunshots early Sunday morning.

On Monday afternoon, four bullet holes were visible on the side of the duplex.

Police confirm an investigation remains ongoing at a residence on the corner of Westwood Drive and Gogolin Road.

Several bullet holes are visible on the side of the residence, where two people live according to those in the area.

Police have not been able to provide more information at this point, although more is expected.

There is no word on if any charges have been laid, or if anyone remains in police custody.
