Drive-thru COVID-19 clinic launches at CN Centre parking lot

VICTORIA —Drive-thru clinics to get immunized against COVID-19 start today at CN Centre.

The clinic runs from 3 to 8 p.m. today (July 6) through Thursday and is for first doses only. Registration is recommended, but not required. There will be no need to get out of your vehicle and multiple passengers (12 and up) will be accommodated.

You can register online at www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca, by phone at 1-833-838-2323 or in person at the Service BC location nearest you.

Today, the province announced 46 new cases of COVID-19, including just two in the Northern Health region.

There are currently 602 active cases of the virus with 87 people in hospital, 22 of whom are in critical care. Twenty-nine of those active cases are up north.

As for vaccinations, 78.1 per cent of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 37 per cent received their second dose.
