KAMLOOPS — Kamloops’ newest multi-millionaire is Gary Hill.
B.C. Lotto Corporation introduced Hill as the co-winner of the $70 million jackpot from June 22 Lotto Max draw. The second winning ticket was purchased in Ontario. Both Hill and the Ontario winner get $35 million.
Hill, 61, is a former truck driver and single with no children. He says he worked plowing streets part time but, with his newfound fortune, is now retired.
Hill purchased his ticket at the Northills Mall and says he always plays the same numbers.
