French speedster Loic Benquet commits to TWolves
PRINCE GEORGE – The University of Northern British Columbia Men’s Soccer team has added some European flair to the roster, officially announcing the commitment of French speedster Loic Benquet for the 2021 Canada West season.
“UNBC was a very good opportunity for me to play for the Timberwolves. The campus and Steve motivated my choice. I spoke with Steve and we had very good contact. I like his view of things. He sees his team as a family, and I like that. The level of the team is very good, and the team looks fun.”
A native of Cestas, a town in the southwest of France, Benquet is a tremendously dynamic left back who plays with a pace and attacking mindset that makes him dangerous all over the pitch. The captain of his regional team talked about what Timberwolves fans can expect from him when he dons a green and gold UNBC jersey.
