PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings will once again be hosting their Summer Hockey School and it will cost 359 dollars, plus tax.

The camps will be run from August 16th to 20th and 23rd to 27th and will consist of three different age groups, ranging from age five to thirteen.

According to Cole Waldie, Director of Communications for the Spruce Kings, the camp will look a whole lot more normal than it did last year.

“Kind of a similar style to what we did last year, but we’re allowed to have an off-ice component to our hockey school, which we didn’t have last year due to COVID,” says Waldie. “Going to be a lot more normal than it was last year.”

Waldie also noted that there will be a great variety of instructors with all kinds of Spruce Kings being well represented.

“The coaching staff and some players will come out, as well as some alumni. Kind of normal to what we’ve had in the last couple of years, where alumni have shown up and then our coaching staff showed up as well,” says Waldie. There will be a lot of Spruce Kings well represented at the hockey school.”

There are still a lot of spots open in every age group, according to Waldie and says that if you have any questions about registration, you can email hockeyschool@sprucekings.bc.ca
