The Prince George fire centre remains on guard

RINCE GEORGE – According to the BC Wildfire Service , 62 of the 300 wildfires burning in BC ,are in the Prince George Fire Centre.

The largest of the 8 fires of note is the Cutoff Creek fire, at over 23,000 hectares ,while the Mount Porter Fire has more than doubled in size over the past few days , from over 6,300 hectares to close to 15,000 hectares .
