Prince George Senior Men’s Baseball host to a father-son duo
PRINCE GEORGE – The D.O.B. Contracting Gladiators, one of the teams in the Prince George Senior Men’s Baseball League, which recently started back up again after a hiatus due to the pandemic, is home to a father-son duo.
Bobby (father) and Preston (son) Weightman recently played for the first time ever on the same team.
Bobby has been playing with the Gladiators since he was 20, and is one of the last founding members left. Preston, however, is playing on the PG Knights, a triple-A team in the city.
This being Preston’s first year that he’s been eligible to play in the Men’s League, he’s taken full advantage of playing when he can to continue to practice, as well as playing with his dad.
