Patios, Parks and Picnics: New summer program launched in PG

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Chamber of Commerce is launching the Patios, Parks and Picnics program, which will reward diners for supporting local food and beverage this summer.

The program will provide residents and visitors with a one-stop location to find local patios, parks and picnic areas.

Throughout the summer, PG Chamber of Commerce will seek out people who are supporting local restaurants and reward them with a 50 dollar gift card provided by Canadian Tire. Additionally, a grand prize draw will take place on September 10.

According to Todd Corrigall, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce, the main goal of this program is to support local, as much as we can.

“We want to make sure that people remember the businesses that are here, that still need our support. We thought pointing out the patios, the restaurants that have patios where people can still sit outside and enjoy the nice weather, enjoy a drink or a meal was a great opportunity.”
