New for the upcoming season is Essential Personnel Night on Saturday, November 13th against the Kelowna Rockets, and Mardi Gras Night on Saturday, February 26th versus the Portland Winterhawks. Essential Personnel Night will recognize and honour essential workers in our community that have been so crucial during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Mardi Gras Night is a celebration of the world-famous Mardi Gras carnival festival that takes place in New Orleans every year.
The always-popular Teddy & Toque Toss is set for Saturday, December 11th against Kamloops. Fans are encouraged to bring stuffed toys and warm winter clothes to throw onto the ice when the Cougars score their first goal, which will be donated to the Salvation Army.
