PRINCE GEORGE– Dustin Porter runs the YouTube channel called Destination Adventure where he goes exploring Northern B.C. in his motor home and his beloved bike, the Gnarley Davidson. Unfortunately for Porter his bike was stolen when he was making a quick pit-stop in Prince George for a wedding.

“When I woke up I went out the driver’s door and looked back and saw the lock sitting there at the back of the motor home. At that point I knew immediately the Gnarley Davidson was gone and when I walked back there the rack was empty”

Once he confirmed the Gnarley Davidson gone, Porter went to both YouTube and Facebook for help, trying to find any clues on where someone could’ve taken it. Luckily for him his posts went viral within hours, with nearly 100 comments and 500 shares on Facebook and over 15,000 views on YouTube.

Seeing all the feedback, Porter says he was overwhelmed with all the love and support from the city. With hundreds of tips on where his bike could’ve gone, Porter ended up finding the Gnarley Davidson within a day’s time.

Porter is incredibly thankful toward his viewers and the city of Prince George for helping him find his bike and left a final message before he left on his next adventure.

“I really just want to say thank you! There is nothing really the citizens can do about the crime problem, but the fact that they have all these Facebook pages and the community pushes it so hard it’s amazing.”

Porter will now leave the city with his beloved Gnarley Davidson, looking for another exciting adventure up north.
