PRINCE GEORGE — Amir Alavi will carry the Liberal banner in Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies.

Alavi majored in business at UBC’s Sauder School of Business and works for a financial institution.

He says he’s passionate about promoting diversity and economic inclusion. A long-time community volunteer, Alavi has served at the Ghadir Community Centre for more than 10 years, and is a member of the CFA Society of Vancouver.

He’s running against conservative incumbent bob zimmer, Cory Longley of the NDP and Dave Jeffers of the Maverick Party.
