Fire at the North Star Inn considered suspicious in nature

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue (PGFR) crews are mopping up a Saturday (Aug. 28) morning fire at the North Star Inn.

PGFR tells CKPG Today the fire at the hotel near Patricia Boulevard and Victoria Street is suspicious in nature.

First arriving crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from a unit on the third floor.

No injuries were reported and the estimated cost of damage is $200,000.
