Alleged assault on Grant Road

PRINCE GEORGE — One person was arrested following an alleged assault yesterday on the Hart.

The RCMP’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) responded to the call on the 2500 block of Grant Road shortly before 9 a.m.

Cpl. Jennifer Cooper says police attended the location, and with the assistance of on-duty members of the ERT and Police Dog Services, located the suspect without incident.

RCMP are thanking the public who waited patiently to return to their homes after being evacuated by police.
