Inaugural Jump Jam showcases top riders

PRINCE GEORGE – What do you get when you mix speed, skill and mountain bikers? The answer is some of the city’s top mountain bikers competing in the inaugural mountain bike jump competitions.

Close to thirty riders from around the city had a chance to show off their biking skill while under the watchful eye of spectators and fellow riders.

Riders spent Sunday afternoon speeding down jumped-filled Project X’s launching big air on the newest jump trail at the Pidherny mountain bike park.

This year’s winners for best trick was Simon Karrer, Justin Karrer for highest jump and Daniel Oystryk for the best tail whip.
