Spruce Kings send defenceman to Cowichan Valley

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings have traded defenceman Ian Kern to the Cowichan Valley Capitals in exchange for future considerations.

The six-foot-five blueliner from Vancouver was acquired earlier this past summer and appeared in three exhibition games with the club.

Prince George gets set for their home-opening weekend in just two nights as they take on the Merritt Centennials in a pair of games on Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
