PRINCE GEORGE – Many people think of libraries as a place to borrow a book. New to the Prince George library are now birdwatching kits.
Through a grant, the library developed a birdwatching backpack kit. Inside the backpack are the essentials needed to venture off and spot local wildlife.
Included in the kit is a checklist of the most common species spotted in the region. And just like a book borrowing the equipment is free.
