Spruce Kings release BCHL Retro Night jersey

PRINCE GEORGE – When the Prince George Spruce Kings take to the ice on November 5th, it will be a blast from the past.

The community-owned hockey club released their BC Hockey League Retro Jersey, which the team will wear for their BCHL Retro Night game against the Trail Smoke Eaters.

This retro jersey pays homage to the decade of the 1970’s Spruce Kings which included two PCJHL championships and four winning seasons. Along with the BCHL’s 60th anniversary, this jersey will also mark one of the five-decade nights for the Spruce Kings as they honour each decade throughout the 2021-22 season.

The 2021-22 season marks the 60th anniversary of the league. Simultaneously, the Spruce Kings are celebrating their 50th season.
