Flu shot clinics are expected next week

PRINCE GEORGE – CKPG Today has learned that starting next week; some local pharmacies will be offering flu shot clinics.

According to health professionals, if influenza spreads rapidly in communities simultaneously with the COVID-19 running rampant, it may continue to stress the healthcare system and put many people at risk.

Health experts say that your best protection against the flu is to get the shot and stay home if you are sick.

More news is expected from the Ministry of Health soon on how they will be rolling out flu clinics across the province.
