PRINCE GEORGE– On Saturday The Prince George EV Association hosted The Electric Vehicle Experience where Prince George residents brought their electric vehicles to show off.

It was an opportunity for people to test drive an electric vehicle and ask electric car owners questions about their car. It was the first of its kind and The PG EV Association hopes to host future shows and is excited to continue to see the electric vehicle market grow.

There was a variety of Vehicles from electric Cars, Trucks, and even scooters. Electric vehicles are rapidly gaining popularity in B.C due to numerous reasons, including the rapidly expanding network of charging stations; the low fuel costs and just being fun to drive.

Michael Stanyer who helped organize the event says that even with Covid restrictions it was a great show and it’s great to see everyone out here with their vehicles.
