Police looking for the driver of a stolen vehicle

PRINCE GEORGE – Early this morning Prince George RCMP attended a single car motor vehicle accident on 15th ave across from Parkwood Place.

When police arrived they discovered the driver of the vehicle had fled the scene of the accident.

After further investigation, the vehicle was identified as stolen on Saturday.

Despite an extensive ground search, including assistance from the Police Service Dog team, the suspect eluded police.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any information of the driver’s whereabouts is asked to call Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477.
