PRINCE GEORGE – A trio of Northern Capitals players will be heading off to the Western Regional U18 Championship.

’04 forward, Brooklyn Hutchings from Prince George BC
’05 forward, Hailey Armstrong from Dawson Creek BC
Two former Northern Capitals have also been named to the provincial team.

Team BC will compete at the 2021 Western Regional Women’s U18 Championship at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, November 1st – 6th, 2021. The final roster for Team BC consists of two goaltenders, seven defencemen, and 11 forwards from across British Columbia and Yukon.
Originally the U18 Female team were to compete in the 2021 National Women’s U18 Championship in Dawson Creek, but that event was cancelled, along with two other fall events, by Hockey Canada.
