Protesters arrested near Houston

HOUSTON, B.C. — Two protesters opposing the Coastal Gaslink project were arrested near Houston Wednesday night.
RCMP say the arrests followed several complaints about them allegedly committing acts of vandalism and thefts to Coastal Gaslink equipment in the area, even prior to a blockade outside the workers camp.
One of the suspects was wanted for outstanding theft and mischief files and the other for having been found in possession of several items of stolen equipment.
One suspect was released with a future court date while the was due to appear in court yesterday.
