PRINCE GEORGE – The Cummings Road regional transfer station reopened today after closing back in June for construction.
The Regional District of Fraser Fort George says with construction complete. The transfer station features a better traffic flow and multiple access points to increase safety for site users, haulers and staff.
The Regional District is defining the catchment area for the considered implementation of passcards in 2022.
Currently, there is no charge to residents dropping recycling items. This will continue once the passcards are implemented. The project is valued at 2.04 million, with funding coming from the Canada community building fund.
