Pedestrian-vehicle incident on Hwy 97 North
PRINCE GEORGE—Update: A male pedestrian was killed this morning after being struck by a vehicle near Hwy 97 North at Northwood Pulpmill road.
It happened just after 7 a.m. and forced the closure of the highway for several hours as investigators and first responders attended the scene. The deceased’s’ name will not be released.
If you have any information you’re asked to call police. This is the second pedestrian killed in Prince George this week. The first died after being hit by a vehicle on First Avenue and Brunswick Street early Tuesday afternoon.
