One person suffers ‘life threatening injuries’ in Highway 16 crash Sunday

VANDERHOOF —North District RCMP says one person suffered life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle collision near Vanderhoof yesterday.

Police say the crash occurred just before 10 a.m. on Highway 16 near George Road and say that road conditions at the time were icy and slippery.

Two other people suffered minor injuries. The crash closed the highway for several hours as investigators combed the scene.

No other information has been released.
