Zimmer appointed to Conservative Party’s shadow cabinet

OTTAWA — Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies Conservative MP Bob Zimmer has been appointed his party’s shadow minister for Northern Affairs and Arctic Sovereignty.

He says he’s honoured to serve again in his party’s shadow cabinet and looks forward to continuing to be a strong advocate for canada’s northern communities.

Zimmer also serves as co-chair of the Parliamentary Outdoor Caucus. He was first elected as MP in 2011.
