Quesnel RCMP arrest woman in connection to downtown house fire

QUESNEL—As crews were fighting a log fire at the West Fraser MDF plant, another call was made for a house fire in downtown Quesnel on Tuesday.
Police have arrested a woman who they say is known to police. They say that a witness saw the woman lighting items on fire.
The home was a rental property which was reported vacant and undergoing renovations at the time. However, police say the witness retrieved a dog from the house.
The woman is currently in jail waiting on bail.
