PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing woman.

Melinda Louise Ewen was reported missing on Wednesday and was last seen at 2:15 p.m. that day, leaving her home.

She did not have her phone with her and her family says it is out of character for her not to contact family for this long.

Melinda is described as:

  • White
  • Five foot three
  • 120 pounds
  • Blue eyes
  • Grey hair
  • She prefers to be called by her middle name, Louise

She was last seen wearing a turquoise sweater, a turtleneck, black pants, brown winter boots and a red winter jacket. She is driving a red 2015 Ford Escape with B.C. license plate BK7 60F.
