Snowfall warning issued for Pine Pass

NORTHERN BC- Environment Canada says 10 to 20 cm of snow is expected for the Williston, Highway 97 – Pine Pass area. A snowfall warning has been issued as heavy snow is expected to fall throughout the morning before changing to rain.

Drivers are being advised to be prepared to adjust for changing road conditions. Environment Canada says rapidly accumulating snow might make road travel difficult. Additionally, weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
