PRINCE GEORGE – Mike Hawes is keeping busy in looking to continue to improve an already talented team in the Prince George Spruce Kings.

The general manager of the team went out and acquired 20-year-old Luc Laylin from the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League (USHL),

“We’re thrilled to be able to acquire a tremendous person and player like Luc,” said Hawes. “He’s a very talented and hard-working player who will endear himself to our fans from the onset. Any time you have the opportunity to improve your team by adding a dynamic player like Luc you have to take advantage of it. Luc will be a great addition to our already talented group of forwards.”

Laylin, from St Michael, MN, is committed to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey at the University of St. Thomas in the 2022-23 season.
