Two more COVID-19 related deaths in Northern Health

NORTHERN BC- The North saw 40 new cases of COVID-19 and two more deaths were reported in the region. This brings the regions active case count to 351. Across BC, there are now 3,020 active cases after 368 new cases were identified in the province. Five new deaths were reported in BC, the other three were reported in the Fraser Health region.

The North’s active case count dropped slightly from yesterday (Wednesday), when it was 360. Meanwhile, BC’s active case count jump slightly from 2,936.

From November 24-30, people not fully vaccinated accounted for 57.9% of cases and from November 17-30, they accounted for 68.1% of hospitalizations.
