PRINCE GEORGE – A local music shop called Long & McQuade is once again giving back this year, in the way of a silent auction, with all proceeds going to the Vancouver Children’s Hospital.

” Every year, during the Christmas season, Long & McQuade nationwide does a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital music therapy programs from coast to coast. Here in B.C., we do it for the children’s hospital in Vancouver,” explains Letham Elle, who is the store manager at Long & McQuade

Usually, they take donations at the till, this year though, they wanted to do something a little different, so they asked Prince George artists, to donate their time and talent.

” The guitars that you see behind me, they were donated to us by customers.” The artists have added a little bit of personal flair to them, they are pretty unique and this is something unique to Prince George.” says Elle

Caroline Elle, was one of the artists selected. She is very grateful for the opportunity.

” I have never painted on a guitar before, so it was a challenge, but I am very pleased with how it turned out.” says Caroline Elle, who is a local artist in Prince George.

If you are interested in donating or even bidding on one of these three guitars, you can do so in person, via email at princegeorge@long-mcquade.com or give them a call at 250-563-0691, and they will happily fill out a bid for you.
