Spruce Kings announce schedule changes

PRINCE GEORGE – The BC Hockey League announced updates to its 2021-22 regular-season schedule yesterday, including the rescheduling of previously postponed games due to flooding and travel issues in the province.

The Prince George Spruce Kings had their November 28^th and 29^th Home Games against the Chilliwack Chiefs and Nanaimo Clippers postponed due to travel challenges related to flooding in BC. These Home Games are now rescheduled by adding games on Wednesday, January 19^th vs Penticton, and Wednesday, February 23^rd against West Kelowna.

The Spruce Kings game originally scheduled for Thursday, January 13^th, 2022 vs West Kelowna, has also now been moved to Wednesday, January 12^th, 2022.

Season Ticket Members will receive new tickets for January 19^th and February 23^rd that will be available for pick-up at the January 12^th Home Game. Tickets for January 13^th vs West Kelowna will be accepted on January 12^th.

The Spruce Kings have also seen a number of new opponents scheduled to remove all out-of-conference games in an attempt to avoid further travel issues, as announced by the league previously.

With the changes, all teams will play the full 54-game schedule, including the Wenatchee Wild who was originally only scheduled to play 50 games.
