Spruce Kings drop 4th straight game in a shootout

WENATCHEE — The Spruce Kings lost 2-1 to the Wenatchee Wild last night in a shootout.

Hunter Hastings put the host ahead at the 8:23 mark before Ty Gagno tied the game with under four minutes left on the clock.

The Wild’s Cade Stibbe potted the shootout winner. Wenatchee outshot the Kings 40-23 before 1,646 fans.

The Kings will look to snap their four game slide tonight when the two teams meet again in Wenatchee. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
