Jan 7, 2022 | 9:28 AM

NEW HAZELTON- Police in New Hazelton received a call on November 18 from a community member to notify officers that four ATV’s were left at the residents’ property without consent. It was believed they might be stolen.

Officers attended and took possession of all four ATV’s. Two have been returned to the lawful owners but police have not been able to confirm the owners of the remaining two.

“Community members often play a huge role in our investigations. Quite often, the information they provide will help solve the crime. The RCMP wish to thank those who helped us recover these ATV’s. I hope that we can find the lawful owners of the remaining two so that we can return them,” said S/Sgt Darren Durnin, NCO i/c New Hazelton RCMP.

Anyone that has any information on the owners is being asked to contact New Hazelton RCMP. Proof of ownership will be required to pick up.
