Detached semi blocks traffic on Highway 16 near Ancient Forest

PRINCE GEORGE —Update: The road has been cleared.

Earlier: If you’re on the roads this hour you’ll want to avoid Highway 16 East.

Mounties say a detached semi has closed the highway at the Penny Access Road, near the Ancient Forest.

There are no reported injuries and no word yet on when the highway will reopen. Check Drive BC for updates.
