Poor road conditions in Prince George area

PRINCE GEORGE — Be careful if you plan on getting behind the wheel today.

This morning suspected icy conditions led to a logging truck losing its load in Salmon Valley.

Another motorist informed CKPG News of icy conditions at 1st Avenue and Carney Street while another vehicle found itself stuck on top of a snow pile at 10th Avenue and Douglass Street.

Cars were also slipping and sliding around town yesterday. The conditions have coincided with the warming temperatures in the region.
