Theatre NorthWest and BBBS hosting Speakeasy fundraiser

PRINCE GEORGE – Big Brothers Big Sisters Prince George (BBBS) and Theatre NorthWest are once again hosting a speakeasy fundraiser.

‘We have changed the format of the event,’ says Tim Bennett, Executive Director of BBBS, ‘it will be seated, with servers, rather than milling around.’ Both organizations have worked hard over the past two years to keep afloat, and fundraisers are a much-needed source of revenue.

‘We want to have an event that is as safe as possible and that raises funds for the work both organizations do,’ says Marnie Hamagami, of Theatre NorthWest. This is the second time these groups are pairing up for this event. Guests are encouraged to dress in 1920’s era fashion – but costumes are not necessary, come as you are!

The event will raise funds for the Big Brothers of Northern BC provide services and aim to provide positivity for thousands of local youth with a wide range of mentoring programs.
